Samantha Domingo is a military talent and technical recruiter for Rackspace with more than a decade of experience in human resources, talent acquisition, healthcare, technology and international business development/relations. Samantha’s immersion in military culture, as both the wife of an Air Force veteran and the daughter of an Air Force Command Chief, has given her an unfettered appreciation for cultural diversity — living abroad for more than 20 years in 13 different states & countries — a wide-ranging education and a unique perspective on business. Samantha joined Rackspace in 2018 to focus on military talent and technical product recruitment. She also assists with talent acquisition branding with a focus on military hiring strategy development as part of Rackspace’s Diversity and Inclusion initiatives. She proudly serves as the communications chair and military spouse resource chair — a position she conceived — with RackVET, Rackspace’s employee resource group for veterans, active duty, guard, reserve and military spouses. She represents Rackspace on the board of directors of San Antonio Chamber of Commerce, and is the Military Spouse Economic Empowerment Zones (MSEEZ) IT Technical Chair of Hiring our Heroes, which is an initiative of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation to connect veterans, service members and military spouses with meaningful employment opportunities. She holds an MBA from University of Phoenix, a bachelor's degree in Health Admin from UOP, and AAs in Prenursing & Behavioral Science from Georgia Military College. Samantha also serves as co-founder of LinkedInMilCity and plays an active volunteer role in the local military community, assisting transitioning service members, veterans, military spouses and family members with career transition, employment, growth and development into the civilian sector. She brings a unique perspective, deep experience and a Fanatical passion to Rackspace’s military talent and cybersecurity recruitment efforts.
