Case Study: Jobs2web chooses Rackspace to host SaaS Solution

Rackspace customer, Jobs2web, provides an interactive, web-based recruitment marketing platform for Fortune 500 companies which enables them to optimize recruiting channels and find, engage and manage high quality candidates at a lower cost.

Jobs2web, offers a SaaS solution, the Recruitment Marketing Platform (RMP) that delivers the infrastructure necessary to automate the recruiting process: delivering potential talent from multiple recruiting channels; capturing and converting them into candidates; interacting with candidates in the online communities where they gather; and measuring all important metrics throughout the talent supply chain.

Jobs2web historically ran their infrastructure in-house. They were ready to take it up a notch and create a next-generation web-based talent recruiting platform that would meet the exacting performance and scalability requirements of Fortune 500 companies. To do that, they knew they had to find experts to build the infrastructure they needed.

They chose Rackspace as their partner with a solution that combined private cloud flexibility and performance with dedicated MS-SQL database servers. They’ve seen great success as Job2web’s CTO, Peter Jacoby mentions:

When we were ready for virtualization, Rackspace was there. No additional vendor selection necessary. And, you have a dedicated account manager ready to work with you.

Angela runs integrated marketing campaigns for Rackspace. She started at Rackspace in 2003 and has done everything from Linux support, account management, sales, product marketing and now lives in marketing. She left Rackspace in 2005 to work for PEER 1 Hosting but returned in 2009 because she was interested in the cloud computing movement (and has always been a Racker at heart). Angela is a strong believer in the power of storytelling.
