Datapipe Granted a FedRAMP ATO for Private Cloud Managed Services

Today we announced that we have been granted a Provisional FedRAMP Authority to Operate (ATO) from the Joint Authorization Board (JAB) for our Federal Community Cloud Platform (FCCP). This new certification enables us to deliver the highest level of security and performance set by FedRAMP’s stringent compliance standards – expanding our ability to provide private cloud and dedicated hosting environments to government agencies working with sensitive data.

FCCP brings together the benefits of standardized cloud elements such as common tools, processes, and training while affording agencies a level of customization that is not normally available in existing public cloud environments. Government agencies can layer on agency-specific controls in addition to those certified by FedRAMP. Agencies can also take advantage of Datapipe’s hybrid cloud expertise by leveraging FCCP for highly sensitive information with the ability to link with public clouds.

Key elements of Datapipe’s FedRAMP Solutions include:

  • Agency dedicated cloud modules
  • Services provided through the virtual operating system
  • Secure Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) enablement
  • Ability to support agency-specific security controls
  • 2014 & 2015 Gartner Magic Quadrant for Cloud-Enabled Hosting, North America
  • Named one of two leaders in the Forrester WaveTM Survey of Private Cloud Solution Providers (2014)

This announcement comes at a time when more and more government agencies are ready to take advantage of the cloud. We have a long history of providing secure cloud environments for state and federal agencies. This FedRAMP P-ATO will strengthen the services we already offer to agencies like the U.S. Departments of Veterans Affairs, Homeland Security, Health and Human Services, and Energy while also opening up our government cloud solutions to new government agencies.
