Datapipe Wins 29th Stevie® Award

Getting recognition for hard work will always feel good. Still, sometimes a win comes along that feels extra special – like finding out that Datapipe was named a winner in the 2017 People’s Choice Stevie® Awards for “Favorite Company” in the computer services category.

The 2017 People’s Choice Stevie® Awards are a feature of the International Business Awards, which is the only international, all-encompassing business awards program in the world. Datapipe was nominated for this award as a result of our Gold Stevie® Award for Company of the Year win earlier this year.  This is the 14th year for the 2017 People’s Choice Stevie® Awards, and this year, more than 14,000 votes were cast in a worldwide public vote over the summer. This year also marks Datapipe’s first People’s Choice Stevie® Awards win. With 28 Stevie Award wins over the past eight years, we’re honored to add a People’s Choice win to our Stevie Award collection.

From our perspective, “Company of the Year” is a reflection of the amazing growth we’ve undergone at Datapipe in the last year. We’re always thinking of ways to better support our customers, and it’s been a hallmark year in this regard. The past 12 months have included several new partnerships, service offerings, and acquisitions that have expanded our presence worldwide and further enabled our customers to grow their cloud solutions. Rich Dolan briefly served as Senior Director of Corporate Marketing at Rackspace. Before that he was Senior Vice President of Marketing for Datapipe, where he spent 16 years developing and driving its world class marketing team as the company grew into one of the leading global managed service providers, from the early days as a start up to a global enterprise player. He built and oversaw digital marketing and demand generation, event management, content management, internal communications, brand management, partner marketing and web properties. Rich managed the consolidation of marketing resources from five acquisitions, and led Datapipe to thirteen Gartner Magic Quadrant recognitions across the globe, including four placements in the Leaders quadrant. Before Datapipe, Rich spent four years with web design firm RareMedium, where he designed and architected web presences and client facing applications for Madison Square Garden, JP Morgan, Atlantis, XM Radio and Credit Suisse First Boston. Rich graduated summa cum laude from the New York Institute of Technology with a BA in computer graphics. He lives in New York with his wife and daughter.
