Datapipe Wins a TMC Cloud Computing Magazine 2016 Cloud Security Excellence Award

We are pleased to announce that Datapipe has been awarded a TMC 2016 Cloud Computing Security Excellence Award in the cloud security category for our Datapipe Access and Audit Control for the Cloud (DAAC), formerly known as DACMA, solution.

TMC, a global, integrated media company, exists to help clients build communities in print, in-person and online. The Cloud Computing Security Excellence Awards, presented by Cloud Computing magazine, honor solutions that most effectively leverage cloud platforms to deliver network security, and those that provide security for those cloud applications. With a 20-year history of honoring technology companies with awards in various categories, TMC’s awards are considered some of the most prestigious and respected honors in the industry, and winners represent prominent industry players who consistently demonstrate the advancement of industry technologies.

Datapipe’s DAAC solution enables enterprises to take advantage of Datapipe’s managed public cloud services without having to hand over administrator-level credentials. DAAC also allows for an enhanced level of security and control through role-based access and tracking, clearly establishing and tracking the accountability and actions of all users. Once set up, DAAC requires no extra steps or oversight, and dramatically reduces the risk of a disruption of service or data breach due to an unauthorized access of a managed cloud environment by Datapipe. The solution is the result of Datapipe’s deep understanding and experiencing in effectively planning, building and running highly secure and available public cloud environments for clients across the globe, and we’re proud to see it honored by TMC as an important contribution to the cloud marketplace.
