Federate Your On-Prem VMware Environment With Hosted VMware And OpenStack-Powered Clouds

Want a closer look at our new VMware® offering? Want a better understanding of what the hybrid cloud future looks like? Interested in seeing a technical demo of a next-generation orchestration tool, ServiceMesh Agility Platform™, which allows you to manage and control multiple heterogeneous clouds – all from a single pane of glass?

You can see all that and more by tuning into a webinar we hosted on September 25 that dug deeper into Rackspace hosted VMware and OpenStack®-powered clouds.

As you may know, we host one of the largest VMware environments in the world with over 30,000 VMs.  We have the extensive experience and expertise that comes with years of architecting, deploying and troubleshooting thousands of complex environments.  During VMworld 2013, we launched an exciting new addition to our Rackspace® Managed Virtualization portfolio and became the first service provider to offer direct access to the APIs of a hosted VMware vCenter Server.

Our new offering, Dedicated VMware® vCenter Server™, is a single-tenant VMware environment that allows you to seamlessly expand your on-premise VMware environment into Rackspace’s infrastructure.  In other words, Rackspace becomes your virtual data center.  Thanks to the API access, you can use all of the familiar tools that you’re already using to manage your on-prem environment to manage Rackspace-hosted VMware environments, including orchestration tools like ServiceMesh.

Watch the webinar to learn more about Rackspace’s hybrid cloud vision and how you can be agile while maintaining the governance you require by using a brokerage platform like ServiceMesh.
