That’s why I am proud to announce that once again, our efforts have gained recognition. IDC MarketScape: Asia/Pacific (Excluding Japan) Managed Cloud Services 2019 Vendor Assessment has named Rackspace a leader across Asia-Pacific.
Organizations are increasingly turning to managed cloud service providers to adopt multi-cloud as the foundation of their digital transformation. IDC predicts that Asia Pacific will spend US$6.6 billion on managed cloud services in 2021, up from US$3.4 billion in 2018.
The reason for this trend is simple: Although a multi-cloud strategy provides the speed and agility needed to compete, it requires an organization to carefully strategize how to mitigate challenges such as integration issues, ensuring security and compliance across multiple environments and the complexities of managing multiple and hybrid clouds effectively.
A trusted long-term strategic partner for your cloud journey
The IDC report placed Rackspace in the leaders’ quadrant with just a handful of other global players, including IBM, Wipro and HCL. It positioned Rackspace as a long-term strategic partner for managed cloud services in part because our customers typically stay with us for many years — six on average.
Our customers also look to us for additional services beyond managing their infrastructure. This is because we have built — and are constantly updating — our service offerings based on our customers’ needs. For instance, we recently acquired RelationEdge, a Salesforce Platinum Partner, giving us the ability to provide full-service the enterprise with Salesforce, SaaS management and digital agency capabilities.
Our strong partnerships with every major public cloud provider means we can offer customers unbiased and experienced guidance, no matter which technology they need or where they are on their journey to digital transformation. In addition to having thousands of certified professionals for AWS and Microsoft Azure, we are the first Google Cloud Premier Partner and a highly certified partner in Asia Pacific for Alibaba Cloud. We support the delivery of managed cloud services on these four cloud platforms across 30 locations in Asia Pacific, through six Centers of Excellence and two hosting centers in the region.
IDC’s report also highlights our commitment to delivering Fanatical Experience, which has been crucial to our success.
