Launched: Concord, Webmail Version 6.0

As promised, yesterday we launched webmail version 6.0, codenamed Concord. This version of webmail has more than 50 new features including the following:
– Shared calendars
– Event scheduling
– Multiple task lists
– Drag-and-drop
– Improved spell check
– Improved HTML editor
– Auto-save drafts
– A new menu system
– …and much more.
Email users that log into should notice the changes already. Resellers and private-label webmail sites are able to upgrade via the control panel for the next 60 days, at which point everyone will be upgraded. In order to upgrade, simply log into your control panel and follow the steps in the System Status section on the main page that you see after you login. And the new webmail user manual is also online if you’d like to read it.
We will be blogging in more detail about some of the new features in the coming days and weeks.

  1. We’re not releasing a list quite yet… but we’ll announce once we release 6.2 to beta, which will be in a few days.  It will not include photo support but that is something we will consider for the future.
