London Calling… Rackspace::Solve Comes to the UK on June 4th!

As is often the case with Rackspace, things are moving fast and furiously, and I’m thrilled to be right in the middle of all of it.

With our Solve: New York event almost a month behind us, and the latest OpenStack Summit just wrapping up in Vancouver, I’ve had the pleasure of spending a lot of my recent time listening to our customers and supporters talk about how OpenStack and Rackspace Managed Cloud have benefited them and their businesses.

It’s been an energizing experience, and one that I hope to channel as I chair our upcoming Solve event, which will kick off June 4th in London.

While we’ve held our Solve conferences in a number of locations over the years, this will be – believe it or not – our first Solve event in Europe, which is extremely exciting.

Not only will we have the opportunity to reach people who haven’t yet had the opportunity to attend Solve, we also have the great privilege of hearing from a number of our most innovative customers and partners. Solve will offer an insider guide with frank discussions on how they tackle problems such as scaling their business, managing big data and navigating digital trends. It will be a great chance to hear from Rackspace’s leaders!

Among those presenters are speakers from CERN OpenLab, VMWare, Phillips HealthSuite, GHD, Alert Logic, Hortonworks, Exact, Vormetric, SapientNitro and EMC.

Rackspace CEO Taylor Rhodes will welcome attendees at the start of the conference and I will provide closing remarks as the day draws to a close. You can view the day’s full schedule by clicking here.

In addition to the speaker sessions, Solve events are always chock-full of deep-dive workshops on cloud security, e-commerce, cloud office tools and more, as well as one-on-one advice that is accessible between sessions at our solutions pavilion.

It’s worth noting that the one-on-one advice we provide at Solve events is only a small sample of the managed IT services we provide to our customers. From managed cloud services to around-the-clock, fanatical support for business solutions such as Microsoft Office 365, Rackspace has become a critical resource for hundreds of businesses, many of whom are changing their behavior around the role of their IT department.

On the one hand, it’s an exciting time to be in IT, as technology is enabling these departments to become integral parts of the business discussion around increased efficiency and productivity. On the other hand, rapid change in the IT world can also leave these teams paralyzed, and feeling vulnerable in terms of making potentially damaging decisions.

Most organizations are now at a stage where they cannot feasibly be responsible for expertise across all the technology they use in their businesses.  We hear this from customers everyday – they want a trusted partner to help make decisions around buying and managing the right IT. This enables them to focus on adding that business value.

If you’re interested in learning more about the Rackspace Managed Cloud and what we can do for your business, I highly encourage you to attend this installment of Rackspace::Solve. All of our Solve events are free, and all you have to do is sign up using the form below. I look forward to seeing you in London!

  1. Hi John I notice there the UK isn’t listed in the Rackspace Solve 2016 dates which is a big shame. Can you confirm if solve will come to the UK this year?
