Microsoft Releases Outlook 2007 Service Pack 2 – Increases Speed & Responsiveness

Yesterday Microsoft announced the release of Office 2007 Service Pack 2. This latest update was targeted at making the most common daily workflows faster and more dependable in Outlook 2007. Microsoft announced the update on their Microsoft Office Outlook Team Blog and stated that customers could see up to a 35% performance increase in the following areas:

  • Faster startup and more
    reliable shutdown
  • Faster folder switching
    between folders with a large number of messages
  • Better overall
    responsiveness when performing
    common tasks

We recommend all customers that currently use Microsoft Outlook 2007 download this update.
