Rackspace Achieves AWS DevOps Competency

Rackspace is thrilled to announce the achievement of the AWS DevOps Competency, which recognizes members of the AWS Partner Network who have demonstrated the highest expertise in DevOps principles. This competency certification is yet another proof point of the value that Fanatical Support for AWS is able to provide for businesses making use of AWS.

Because we strongly believe in continually expanding the set of capabilities we can offer to solve the challenges businesses face when making use of AWS, attaining certifications such as this one has been one of our highest priorities.

In order to achieve this competency, individual members of the Fanatical Support for AWS team spent months of work preparing for a rigorous exam to test their knowledge of DevOps principles and best practices.

The process also required a critical number of customer references, case studies, white papers and other evidence of positive customer feedback and industry support.

Further, the team as a whole underwent an audit by a third party, during which they had to demonstrate the ability to perform a set of DevOps-related functions using AWS native DevOps tools, in areas such as solution design, application build, migration capabilities and security management.

Achieving this competency has completely set us apart from the industry-leading number of professional certifications that exist, and offered yet another proof point of our expertise across the AWS service catalog.
