Rackspace Lays Foundation for Fanatical Channel with Launch of New Partner Program

Rackspace Channel equips partners with tools and resources for customers’ digital transformation

SAN ANTONIO – April 11, 2018 – Rackspace® today announced the launch of its new partner program, a critical milestone as the company lays the foundation for a Fanatical Channel TM. The Rackspace Partner Program provides partners with better visibility and access into one of the industry’s broadest portfolio of managed IT services and expertise that Rackspace has to offer, across the leading private and public clouds, application services, along with managed hosting, colocation and managed security. Rackspace’s enhanced approach to channel offers partners the ability to leverage both self-service and highly dedicated, customized program models to help meet their needs and the needs of their customers.

“Rackspace recognizes that as technology continues to evolve, end users are continuing to uncover new business challenges and as a result must modernize their IT,” said Lisa McLin, Channel Chief at Rackspace.  “The new program will better enable partners to service their customers through our unrivaled portfolio and unbiased expertise to help organizations as they transform their IT.”

Rackspace has made investments in tools and resources to make it easier for partners to help their customers in their digital transformation. As part of the program, partners can take advantage of new features, including:

  • Strategic partner agreement: Partners will have an agreement with Rackspace that aligns with their business and includes increased partner benefits such as a formalized MDF program, sales and technical resources, and customer life-cycle management.
  • Strengthened partner enablement: More access to resources, such as dedicated partner account managers, Partner Open Book events, Rackspace executive sponsorship, priority access to the Rackspace Customer Experience Center and joint marketing content will provide increased transparency between Rackspace and the partner community, enabling partners to have strategic conversations with their customers.
  • Enhanced partner portal: Partners have more access to tools that enables them to not only manage their existing business with Rackspace, but also positions them for continued growth with their customers.

“By expanding their Fanatical Support mantra to a Fanatical Experience to the channel for the partner and their customers, Rackspace recognizes the importance that channel can play in any sales organization,” said Steve White, vice president of channels and alliances, IDC. “The investments Rackspace is making in the channel will ultimately provide a higher-touch Fanatical Experience for the channel, and in turn will enable partners to better serve their customers.”

Partners in North America can sign up for the program today. For more information, partners can reach out to their partner account manager or email raxpartnerhelp@rackspace.com.
