Rackspace “Setting the Standards and the Pace” in Germany

Rackspace has been named a Leader in Managed OpenStack Distributions in Germany by Information Services Group, an independent, global market research and consulting firm. As a Leader, the report states, “Rackspace is setting the standards and the pace.”

ISG measured service providers in the German market on a variety of factors, including features and functionality, go-to-market strategy, recent innovations, future product roadmap, customer references and others. The report recognized Rackspace for our “extremely comprehensive service and support offering, with many innovations.”

In the wake of the news, ISG provider Lens Germany 2018 wrote, “No other provider in the Managed OpenStack segment can keep up with Rackspace at the present time. Rackspace leads the OpenStack field and is very forward-looking in implementing ‘state of the art’ technical innovation.” The publication noted the “many German and worldwide references to Rackspace demonstrate its market presence and underline the comparatively high level of market awareness.”

Alex Fürst, Vice President of DACH (which includes Germany, Austria and Switzerland) at Rackspace, said the ranking “confirms what our customers already know: we are one of the best managed cloud providers in the German market. We will continue to expand our market activities, the partner program and our presence in Germany.”
