Rackspace Weekly Digest: August 23

This week, we made yet another breakthrough in our battle against patent trolls who try to stifle innovation from American businesses. We also extended on-premise VMware environments to the hybrid cloud and created an awesome infographic to help you up your marketing game at national tech conferences. And that’s not all: Next week, you can find our cloud evangelists in San Francisco for the 10th anniversary of VMworld. Until then, here’s a roundup of this week’s highlights:

Extend On-Premise VMware Environments To The Hybrid Cloud
This week we launched Dedicated VMware vCenter Server, which makes a Rackspace-hosted VMware environment look and feel just like an extension of your own data center. Now you can extend your VMware capacity off-premise while still maintaining the same level of control, agility and governance that you’re used to in your own data centers.
