Things are really starting to rock and roll here at Rackspace with the launch of great new cloud computing products; and we’re working hard to continue to give you superior Fanatical Support. We’re also excited to continue hosting our virtual Q&A sessions, bringing industry thought leaders right to your desktop through our interactive SharePoint Tuesday events. If you missed the latest session on October 16, we’ve got it archived for you to download.
SharePoint Tuesday events are virtual open forums hosted on the third Tuesday of every month. These hour-long virtual Q&A sessions give you access to SharePoint911 thought leaders who are now part of Rackspace. If you’ve joined us in the past four our educational series, then you know SharePoint Tuesday isn’t a typical webinar series. There are no set topics of discussion. Instead, each week we give you the opportunity to jump on the chat and ask your specific questions to a team of experts.
To make it a little more interesting, we want you to put our experts to the test. Participants are encouraged to bring hard questions — we mean it! If you Stump the MVP Rackspace donates $100 to charity:water on behalf of you or your company. We’ve already awarded a handful of attendees with this honor, including the most recent winner, Molly Mostek, a data analyst from Boyne Resorts. Congratulations!
In Episode No. 10 (October 16) Microsoft MVPs Laura Rogers and John Ross answered questions from participants on a variety of SharePoint subjects including:
- Conditional formatting in SharePoint lists
- Blogs and resources for managed metadata
- Column lookup and exposing lists
Download the SharePoint Tuesday Episode No. 10 mp3 or watch the flash video from October 16, 2012. We only have two more sessions left this year and hope you can join us for an upcoming SharePoint Tuesday session on November 20 or December 18 from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. CST.
