SharePoint Tuesday Recap: Episode 4

Did you miss Rackspace’s June 19th SharePoint Tuesday? We’ve got a recap and recording of the event just for you.

SharePoint Tuesday events are virtual open forums that give you access to SharePoint911 thought leaders who are now part of Rackspace. SharePoint Tuesday isn’t a typical webinar series — there are no set topics of discussion. Instead, each week we give you an hour to jump online and ask your specific questions to a team of experts.

To make it a little more interesting, we encourage participants to bring hard questions. If you Stump the MVP, Rackspace will donate $100 on behalf of you or your company to charity:water. We’ve already awarded two participants who asked tough questions and stumped the host! It’s a win-win for everyone: you learn and developing communities get clean drinking water. This week we congratulate Kent Robbins IT Manager from SCSI as our second Stump the MVP winner- congratulations!

In Episode No. 4 (June 19) Microsoft MVP Jennifer Mason answered questions from participants on a variety of SharePoint subjects including:

  • Content query Web Part and how it’s implemented
  • Automating workflows and combining SharePoint 2010 with Microsoft Dynamics xRM
  • Creating a color coded SharePoint based on approval and more.

Download the SharePoint Tuesday episode No. 4 mp3 or watch the flash video from June 19, 2012. We hope you can join us for the next SharePoint Tuesday session on July 3rd from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. CST.
