Talent Flying to The Rackspace Cloud

Dear Harper, John, Mark, Michael, Nick and Rick:

We’d like to send each of you a Warm (and by warm we mean Texas warm) Welcome to the Rackspace family! We are so excited to have you join The Rackspace Cloud, and become bona fide Rackers. There are many reasons why we are excited, but here are the top four:

1) All six of you are Geeks, with a passion for customers.  So again “birds of feather flock together…”
2) You all have been there and done that before, and are the best at it. You bring deep expertise in data centers, infrastructure scaling, product dev, globalization, and ecosystem development.    You are all true innovators, and we can’t wait to see each of you in your element and in action.
3) It makes us feel all gooey inside, knowing you left leading tech companies (Yahoo, Canonical, Microsoft, Threadless, etc)  to be a part of our Cloud mission of spreading Fanatical Support to the Cloud.
4) I can’t forget to mention your good looks…and awesome hair (yes, I am a little jealous…;))

Before leaving in 2016, Angela ran integrated marketing campaigns for Rackspace. She started in 2003 and did everything from Linux support, account management, sales, product marketing and marketing. She left Rackspace in 2005 to work for PEER 1 Hosting but returned in 2009 because she was interested in the cloud computing movement. Angela is a strong believer in the power of storytelling.
