Why We Craft OpenStack (Featuring Rackspace Product Manager Jarret Raim)

As OpenStack Summit Atlanta fast approaches, we wanted to dig deeper into the past, present and future of OpenStack. In this video series, we hear straight from some of OpenStack’s community members from Rackspace about how the fast-growing open source project has evolved, what it needs to continue thriving and what it means to them personally.

In the video below, Jarret Raim, Rackspace Product Manager, discusses his work and passion for the security space within the open source community.

Jarret, along with Paul Kehrer of Rackspace, presented at PyCon2014 last week in Montreal. During their talk they encouraged the Python community to always remember and contribute to the entire open source story, with all of its projects and history and tools, and related this to how the open source ecosystem – from Linux to Python to OpenStack- is crucial to their work with security and cryptography.

Be sure to check out the first installment of the “Why We Craft OpenStack” video series featuring Kurt Griffiths, Rackspace Principal Architect. We look forward to seeing you in Atlanta for OpenStack Summit, May 12 through May 16.
